It’s boot season….and if you’ve been keeping up with me on twitter my favorite pair of black boot suffered a zipper related tragedy the other day. It broke and I blamed the most recent eclipse with a shake of my fist skyward but as powerful as that shake was it wasn’t enough to repair my boots or keep my feet warm. Love your feet with Kushyfoot!

As a working girl, college student, with internship duties how does a girl stay stylish and comfortable at the same time? Searching for a fashion product that offers style and comfort can be hard. After attending New York Fashion Week F/W 2011 I can fully attest to the fact that turban mania is in full swing! I guarantee there was at least one turban in the crowd of every fashion show this season. So many that I decided I should be turban free the whole week! I am not anti-turban. Goodness no! I love the turban trend! I hope everyone tries it out. I, personally can’t deal with having someone else in the room wearing something that I am let alone more than person?? Yeah no. Never the less I am here to show you how to get the high fashion turb’d out look that everyone is dieing to wear! I scoured youtube for some tutorials and the two below are the best by far. I love the first one because she fully explains the size of the scarf you need and how to wrap your turban just right in several different styles, She is just awesome! I love second video because she doesn’t speak at all and shows 3 styles in no time, no fuss no muss! Do not be afraid to be the only one wearing a turban! That is the ideal situation darlings, all eyes on you! Enjoy these turban tuts!

WATCH THIS VIDEO!!! Ok sorry I don’t mean to yell but..Seriously guys this video is colorful and sparkly and it makes me dizzy in a good way! You really do feel like your looking into a beautiful luxury kaleidescope that was never intended for children… They could never appreciate it the way you and I can. Now I know those wild repeat prints aren’t for everyone even when they are being toned down by solid details but they are definitely for me! For those of you who like a more conservative accessory, fear not dear Mr. Williamson has a bag for you towards the end of the video. Matthew Williamson and Blvgari have really done it this time!

I am crazy about the Missoni ToyWatch limited edition collection. These watches are the perfect way to add an extra touch of style to your look. The half leather bands are nice but I prefer the full scarf band myself. Unfortunately the information on where you can buy one of these watches right now is also limited but they would make a great gift for christmas if you can find one!

I had many ideas of what to be for Halloween this year but when I saw this white and black vintage feather hat at a flea market it was a done deal. No matter what I was going to be I was going to wear this hat! It was not long after it dawned on me that with a little added drama this hat could be major and I should be famed editor, and discoverer of Alexander Mcqueen, style icon Isabella Blow. It just made sense to me as I have been professing my love for her publicly since the beginning of the summer. You can check out the photo posts I did of her on my tumblr if you missed them originally…Once I got this brilliant idea in my head I was on my way to the garment district the next day to pick up some more feathers. In this video I am sewing on the finishing touches to my hat and I am going to try to make a video of the feather neck piece I am working on as well. I couldn’t decide which dress I will wear tonight for my party so I put them both on in my video. What do you think I should wear? The red asymmetrical Versace floor length dress? Or the black strapless cocktail dress with a feather neck piece? Let me know in the comments below!
P.s. I hope this video will inspire some of you to dress up as whatever you want to be for halloween this year!! Who cares if no one knows who you are! You should dress up in whatever you will have the most fun in! I’m quite sure no one will know who I am at the parties I will attend but I will just send them to Ms. Blow’s Wikipedia!

As a child I used to adore Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts crew, I would read the comic strip in the Sunday paper and even get the books from the library. It is crazy to think that they are now 60 years old! In honor of this milestone the Peanuts have teamed up with 15 designers to create inspired peices exclusively for french retailer Colette.

Happy Socks and Giles Deacon have come together to make silly socks for a great cause, 50% of the proceeds their sales will go to Elton John AIDS Foundation. The socks above are just a sneak peek of what is to come, hopefully the rest of the collection will be available in time for the holiday season. Embellished leg wear is a big trend for the upcoming season, should you dare to indulge these are the kind of socks you should be working with.
