NY EVENT: NYU EXPO Presents: The Butterfly Effect A Fashion Show to Benefit Hamilton-Madison House 4-29-2011
On Friday, April 29th, NYU’s Chinese Student Society and ModelingClub will host EXPO 2011: The Butterfly Effect, a benefit fashion show featuring designs from Vena Cava, Charlotte Ronson, Kai-aakmann, Lindsey Thornburg, and more. The Butterfly Effect has partnered with Hamilton-Madison House, an organization that operates out of lower Manhattan’s Chinatown, a federally designated poverty area. Hamilton-Madison House aims to improve the quality of life for low-income families in this neighborhoodby providing Childcare, Youth Development and Behavioral Health programs, Senior Services, and Immigrant and Community Services. EXPO is excited to give back to the people of New York Citythrough Hamilton-Madison House while celebrating the art of fashion. It will be held in the Eisner & Lubin Auditorium on 60 Washington Square South, New York, NY 10012at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the Hamilton-Madison House. Tickets are $7 for guests with NYU-issued ID and $13 for non-NYU guests.
